Yellow Fever -- Nigeria
Katsina health authorities have begun vaccinating 150 000 people in the council area of Danja in the wake of a recent outbreak of yellow fever. The campaign in reaction to the outbreak is expected to protect some 154 131 people, ages 9 months to 45 years.
Underway since last week [week of 6 Aug 2018], the campaign is expected to conclude by [Sat 18 Aug 2018]. It comes after the Eliminate Yellow fever Epidemics (EYE) strategy by 2026, launched in April [2018] by the World Health Organisation
