Chronic Wasting Disease -- United States
The Missouri Department of Conservation reports 15 free-ranging Missouri deer have tested positive for chronic wasting disease out of nearly 18 400 test results received so far for the season. According to an MDC release, these results show that efforts are working to limit the spread of the disease.
The 15 new cases consist of 1 from Cedar County from a hunter-harvested adult buck; 3 from Franklin County from hunter-harvested adult bucks; 1 from Jefferson County from a hunter-harvested
