Scrub Typhus -- Nepal
The District Public Health Office (DPHO), Chitwan [Province Three], has confirmed the death of woman from scrub typhus.
The woman in her mid 20s of Rajahar of Nawalparasi district was admitted [Provinces Four and Five] to Community Hospital, Chitwan, on [5 Aug 2017], died on [6 Aug 2017] in course of treatment, said vector controller at the DPHO, Ram Kumar KC.
Out of 109 people infected with the disease in last fiscal year, 4 died, according to data with the DPHO. Likewise, out of 264
