Malaria -- Colombia
With much of the world's attention on fighting the Zika virus, there have been significant strides in the effort to combat the _Aedes_ species of mosquito that transmits Zika, dengue fever and a host of other diseases. But this diversion may have led to some neglect in controlling the _Anopheles_ mosquito -- the vector that transmits malaria.
