Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever -- Pakistan
A total of 20 people died because of Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) in the country this year [2016] including 12 patients from Balochistan, 5 from Karachi while 5 suspected patients were registered in Hayatabad Medical Complex in Peshawar. The latest victim, a woman, who was brought from Afghanistan for medical treatment, died of the virus at Fatima Jinnah TB Sanatorium Hospital in Quetta.
