Anthrax -- Russia
As of 22 Aug 2016, 12 227 people in the Yamalsky, Tazovsky, Nadymsky and Priuralsky districts of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area have been vaccinated against anthrax, according to the regional government's website.
Regular vaccination of the region's reindeer herds also continues. A total 247 353 reindeer have been vaccinated against anthrax in the region so far: 150 327 in Yamalsky District, 58 768 in Tazovsky District, 36 458 in Priuralsky District and 1800 in Nadymsky District.
