1. Disease Report
Lumpy skin disease is causing more outbreaks in the South East Europe region, with Bulgaria, Greece, Kosovo, the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Serbia reporting outbreaks, while further afield, outbreaks have also been reported in Russia and Turkey.
In Bulgaria, there have been nearly 200 affected herds, with around 10 percent morbidity (high temperature and skin nodules). Greece has reported nearly 70 outbreaks this year [2016]. Macedonia has reported 335
