Salmonella -- United States
In 7 separate multistate outbreaks, a total of 324 people infected with the outbreak serotype strains of _Salmonella enterica_ were reported from 35 states. Among people who reported the date they became ill, illnesses started on dates ranging from 4 Jan 2016 to 11 May 2016. In interviews, ill people answered questions about contact with animals and other exposures in the week before becoming ill;
