1. Since the previous issue of Avian Influenza Report (AIR), there were 2 new human cases of avian influenza A(H7N9), from Hunan (1) and Guangdong (1), as reported by mainland health authorities. Since March 2013 (as of 30 Jan 2016), there were a total of 702 human cases of avian influenza A(H7N9) reported globally. Since October 2015 (as of 30 Jan 2016), 25 cases have been recorded in mainland China.
